Science Talent Farming Scheme’s registration process completes

Pakistan Science Foundation has completed the registration process of its fourth batch of Science Talent Farming Scheme.

Under the scheme around 300 outstanding students will be given opportunity to get science education at the best institutions of the country.

PSF officials said they received thousands of applications from across the country which will be evaluated and shortlisted candidates will be called for appearing in Science Aptitude Test which is a paper-based IQ test and a presentation.

The scheme, offering scholarships for talented science students after completion of Secondary School Certificate, has so far benefited around 900 students during three of its batches.

Students from government sector institutions and having 60 percent overall marks and 70 percent in science subjects are eligible to apply in this scheme.

The students are given monthly stipend of 10,000 rupees, study visit opportunity to Science and technology Organizations, universities and labs.
