President approves bills regarding overseas Pakistanis, deposit protection

President Asif Ali Zardari has accorded assent to 'The Establishment of Special Court (Overseas Pakistanis Property) Bill, 2024 and 'The Deposit Protection Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2024.'The President has assented to the bills under Article 75 of the Constitution.Meanwhile, the President also approved appointment of Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi as a member of the Council of Islamic Ideology.Source: Radio Pakistan
