KARACHI: Two persons including a prayer leader and a bank guard were gunned down in New Karachi and Boat Basin areas of Karachi on Wednesday afternoon. The 40-year old prayer leader Qari Hassan Naseer S/o Abdul Rasheed was shot dead by the unidentified armed men inside the mosque situated in New Karachi No-3. He died before he could be taken to hospital. The assailants managed to flee from the crime scene. The body of deceased was shifted to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy. The tension prevailed in the area after incident.
In another incident 55-year old Feroz Khan, security guard of private bank, was gunned down by unidentified armed men, when he was on duty at bank branch situated in Boat Basin, Clifton area in the jurisdiction of Boat Basin Police Station. The assailants managed to escape from the crime scene. The body of deceased was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for postmortem.
