Police asked to beef up security
KARACHI: Taking notice of media reports about security threats to sensitive installations, Inspector General Police Sindh Fayyaz Ahmed Laghari asked police to beef up security in Karachi and rest of Sindh province.
He instructed to further enhance intelligence network and ensure proper deployment and patrolling of police at the sensitive installations and public places. He said special security should be ensured for Chehlum mourning processions.
He asked targeted actions should be taken against criminal elements besides continuing random and snap checking.
