Police arrests seven outlaws including 3 Pos

Islamabad: Crime Investigation Agency police on Friday arrested seven outlaws including 03 proclaimed offenders POS from various areas of the city wanted to police in crime cases of various nature, a police spokesman said.

On the special directions of Inspector General of police Bani Amin Khan, SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq SP Investigation Mustansar Feeroz directed the police to launch effective crackdown against proclaimed offenders and dacoits. He also instructed police to ensure arrest of all such criminals.

On the instructions special teams were constituted under supervision of incharge CIA Zubair Ahmed Shaik, SubInspector Ashraf Azeem and ASI Akram Ranjha.

The teams arrested accused namely Imarn s/o Fakhair Zaman r/o district Attock, Sameer Arfinish, Adul Rauf and Yasir , Javid Khan , Mehboob Ali and Shahid Ali and recovered gold ornament, mobile phone, cash and two 30 bore illicit pistol from their possession.

During the initial investigation accused confessed their involvement in murder, street crime and illicit weapons in the area of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Further investigation is in progress.

Inspector General of police Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq have appreciated the performance and directed all heads of police stations to ensure the arrest of antisocial elements and report to him on daily basis.
