Islamabad: Senator Maula Baksh Chandio, Minister for Political Affairs, called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and discussed the overall political situation prevailing in the country.
The Prime Minister urged the Minister for Political Affairs to mobilize the party workers at the grass roots level as the general elections are around the corner.
He said that during its stint in power, the PPP has introduced a number of initiatives for the welfare and well being of the poor and the needy.
He further said that the achievements of the government must be highlighted.
