Islamabad: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that he would soon visit the AJ&K to review work done on development projects initiated by the present government.
The Prime Minister disclosed this in a meeting with former Prime Minister of AJ&K, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry at the PM’s House on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan People’s Party has deep association with kashmiris as the founding father of the party, Shaheed Zufiqar Ali Bhutto kept the issue of Kashmir at the top of Pakistan’s foreign policy and highlighted it at international foras including the UNO.
He said that the government would explore all avenues for the progress, prosperity and development of the people of AK&K. Record development funds have already been allocated by the government for this purpose, he added.
Barrister Sultan Mahmood assured the Prime Minister that he will wholeheartedly devote himself to the service of the party and the people of AJK.
