Pakistanis divide about whether core issue could be solved in their lifetime: Survey

Islamabad: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, Pakistanis are divided about whether the Kashmir issue can be solved in their lifetime.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Do you think the Kashmir issue can be solved in your lifetime?” Responding to this, 47% said yes and 46% said no. However, 7% did not give a view.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2677 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during November 18 to 25 November.
