Islamabad: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that Pakistan is committed to constructive engagement with India for the settlement of all disputes including Jammu & Kashmir.
The Prime Minister expressed these views in a meeting with President AJ&K, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan and Prime Minister AJ&K, Chaudhry Abdul Majeed at the PM’s House on Thursday.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan would continue to extend its moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their struggle for right to self-determination.
Pakistan, he said believes in final settlement of the Kashmir dispute, in accordance with the UN resolutions and wishes of the Kashmiri people for prosperity in the region.
Regarding the development projects initiated in AJ&K, the Prime Minister said that record allocation have been made to provide better roads facilities, clean drinking water, sanitation and health facilities to the people.
He said that ERRA has also undertaken major projects in the earthquake hit areas where the life has returned to normal.
The President and Prime Minister AJ&K expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister and Government of Pakistan for the continued support to Kashmir cause.
The President and Prime Minister of AJ&K apprised the Prime Minister about the status of the development projects there.
