Naudero, Sindh: The number of deaths of children due to measles in Naudero and surrounding villages rose to nine, as death of 3year Mujahid son of Peeral Malah has been reported. His family lives near Rice Canal across the railway station.
Sheral Malah, notable of the Malah community, told reporters that two of their children have gone with their parents to Ratodero to get medical treatment as the same is not available here in Naudero and added that their six other children are also suffering from the measles.
The affected children include 2year Iqra d/o Dhani Bux Malah, 3year Raja son of Mehar Malah, 6month Khos d/o Nazir Malah, Saira, 2year Tania d/o Muhammad Nawaz and 6year Dildar son of Peeral Malah.
Sheral Malah said that not a single WHO or any Immunization team has so far visited them since the outbreak of the epidemic. He urged the concerned authorities to take notice of the problem.
