Met office predicts hot, dry weather

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, light rain-wind thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Eastern Sindh, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, kashmir and its adjoining areas.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad eighteen degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-six, Karachi twenty-nine, Peshawar twenty-one, Quetta fifteen, Gilgit thirteen, Murree eleven and Muzaffarabad sixteen degree centigrade.

According to Met Office weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain-wind and thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Baramula, Shopian and Leh while partly cloudy and dryin Jammu.

Temperature recorded this morning:

Srinagar and Barammula eleven degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-three, Leh two, Pulwama and Anantnag ten and Shopian nine degree centigrade.
