Lyari Expressway: work restarts after shifting people from 1800 meter area

Karachi: The city administration has restarted the halted work of north-bound Lyari Expressway after shifting the affected people from 1800 meter long area out of 2500 meter in Liaquatabad subdivision. The shifting of affected people from rest of 700 meter area is underway and would soon be completed.

The concerned officials gave this information to Sindh Chief Secretary Raja Muhammad Abbas, who accompanied by Commissioner Karachi Hashim Raza Zaidi and Deputy Commissioner Central District Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman, visited the Lyari expressway to inspect the ongoing work.

The officials told that the work was restarted about two months back.
