KU conducts aptitude tests of 20,000 candidates

Karachi: For admission 2013, University of Karachi conducted aptitude tests of 20,000 candidates interested in obtaining admission in various test-based departments.

Admission on reserved and donor seats (on self-finance basis) will commence from 10th December 2012”, Director Admissions, Prof. Dr. Khalid Iraqi said in a meeting of Karachi University Admission Committee here on Thursday.

The director told the committee members that all the aptitude tests for admission in Bachelors (H) and Master’s Program were conducted in a peaceful environment without the interference of any external factor.

This was for the first time when the administration provided transport facility to the candidates which helped in avoiding late attendance in the test.

It was decided in the meeting that forms for reserved seats (for sports, Karachi University Employee, Disable persons, Armed Forces, FATA/Northern Areas and AJK, Balochistan, Interior Sindh Quota) and Donor seats (on self-finance basis) can be obtained and submitted from 10th December to 26th December 2012 from UBL Silver Jubilee Gate, University Branch. In addition, final merit list for Aptitude test based departments and Pharm-D will be displayed on 9th December 2012 at 2:00pm and list for Bachelors (H) will be displayed on 15th December at 2:00pm at Silver Jubilee Gate, University of Karachi.
