KP govt establishes commission for recently discovered petroleum, gas resources

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has established a Provincial Joint Commission for the recently discovered petroleum and gas resources in North Waziristan district.The commission will formulate a long-term policy to ensure the utilization of these natural resources in the best interest of the country, region and local population.It will act as a liaison between the local population, provincial and federal governments and other partner institutions.Source: Radio Pakistan
