Peshawar: Keeping in view the refraction issues in school children and community members in Jalozai camp of Internally Displaced Persons IDPs Right To play an international Organization has conducted a successful eye camp here on Monday.
In this regard a one day eye camp was organized in collaboration with Pakistan Institute of Community Ophthalmology PICO. A group of members from PICO headed by Dr Jamal and Sabir khan from Right To play has took part in making it a fruitful event.
Total more than 400 school children and community members were screened out in which allergies, dry eyes, viral infection, ocular pain and refractions error were noticed as common eye diseases and which needs to be solved.
The main objective of the Right To play is to create awareness regarding health issues, in this context awareness material of eye diseases were also distributed among children and community the purpose of which to spread awareness and preventive measures.
The theme for the programme is “Better Vision better Life” in which the awareness about eye diseases and importance of caring Eyes for better life was focused. For this purpose PICO has provided free eye checkup facility through advance eye instruments and medicines were also provided to the patients of eye by Right To play.
