ISESCO condemns Houthi militias’ firing of ballistic missile toward Riyadh

Rabat (OIC-UNA) - The Islamic Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) strongly condemned the targeting of Riyadh by the Houthi militias in Yemen with a ballistic missile which was intercepted and destroyed.

ISESCO Director General Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri said this criminal attack, perpetrated by the rebel Houthi militias, jeopardized the security and safety of citizens and civilian facilities in Riyadh, capital Saudi Arabia. It was a despicable aggression prohibited by the international law that called for an international firm position against these terrorist militias and their supporters.

On this occasion, Dr. Altwaijri called for urgent international measures to stop such terrorist attacks and enable the internationally-recognized legitimate government to discharge its mission and restore peace and security in Yemen.
