QUETTA: Most of hospitals including government and private were opened Friday after doctors ended strike after 58 days. It sent a wave of pleasure among the patients.
Doctors held a successful meeting with government officials here yesterday and announced to call off strike and join work. All the private and government hospitals were opened today. Doctors joined duty at the OPDs of government hospitals today.
However most of the doctors did not come to the hospitals.
Patients in their reaction said that doctors and the government should avoid confrontation and serve poor and deserving patients. They hoped that during the coming days doctors would refrain from protest such as strike.
