Govt taking steps for economic development of country: Caretaker PM
A delegation led by Chairman East Sea Group Fang Yulong called on Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Beijing on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister apprised the delegation about his government’s pro-business policies. He said the government is taking business and investment friendly steps for economic development of the country. He further said the government is encouraging and providing an enabling environment to the private sector so that it can play its effective role in the economic development of Pakistan.
Fang Yulong informed the Prime Minister that East Sea Group is investing in the refinery in Gwadar Free Zone and Chinese companies are greatly interested in enhancing investment in Pakistan.
Welcoming the keen interest of the East Sea Group to invest in Pakistan, the Prime Minister declared Gwadar a key factor in Pakistan’s development as well as in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He acknowledged China for helping Pakistan in thick and thin.
