Germany has expressed its interest to assist Punjab government in diverse fields including vocational and technical education, health and conservation of water.
The understanding came at a meeting between Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and German Ambassador Alfrad Grannas in Lahore on Tuesday.
The Punjab Chief Minister apprised the German Ambassador about the colossal loses occurred in South Punjab due to the riverine flood.
On this occasion, German Ambassador Alfrad Grannas also reaffirmed his commitment to lend a helping hand for the rehabilitation of flood affectees and bolster cooperation with Punjab government in multiple fields.
