Islamabad: According to a Gilani Research Foundation survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 53% of Pakistanis prefer daylight over night-time. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Some people prefer daylight, some people prefer the night-time and some people prefer both. Which do you prefer more?” Responding to this, 53% said they prefer ‘daylight’, 32% said they prefer ‘both’ and 15% said they prefer ‘night-time’.
The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2589 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during November 05 to 11, 2012.
