Forensic report over mysterious death on Kamran Faisal submitted in SC

ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Forensic Science Agency PFSA on Thursday presented, before a three-member Supreme Court bench, its report over the mysterious death of National Accountability Bureau’s NAB Assistant Director Kamran Faisal, who was investigating a multibillion Rental Power Projects RRPs mega scam, also involving Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.

The bench comprising Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, which had taken up Kamran Faisal death case, held that it would first examine the report and then go-ahead in the case. Meanwhile, the hearing was adjourned until March 26.

The forensic report was presented in a sealed envelope. Islamabad police have already submitted its investigation report, based on medical board’s report, over the death of Kamran Faisal. Kamran was supposed to have hanged himself on January 17.
