Five terrorists killed in clash with security forces in Zhob

Five terrorists were killed in an intense exchange of firing with the security forces in Sambaza area of Zhob district yesterday night.

According to ISPR, security forces conducted an intelligence based operation on reported presence of terrorists. In the ensuing exchange of fire, Major Syed Ali Raza Shah and Havaldar Nisar Ahmed, having fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced martyrdom.

The ISPR said the security forces of Pakistan are indebted and proud of their brave men and pay homage to their chivalry and sacrifices for the motherland, which further strengthens nation's resolve to uproot the menace of terrorism from the country.

Sanitization of the surrounding areas is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

Paying tribute to Major Syed Ali Raza Shah and Havaldar Nisar Ahmad, who embraced martyrdom during the encounter with terrorists, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has pledged to completely eradicate the menace of terrorism.

In a statement, he said our brave forces are standing like an iron wall against terrorism.

Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti has also paid respects to the martyrs Major Ali Raza and Havaldar Nisar Ahmed, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country.

In a statement, he said Major Ali Raza and Havaldar Nisar Ahmed were martyred while fighting bravely against terrorists.

The Interior Minister said the entire nation stands with Pakistan Army and the menace of terrorism must be eradicated at any cost.
