QUETTA: Frontier Corps Balochistan in targeted operation in Mastung killed two terrorists.

FC sources said here Friday that FC carried out a successful operation in Mastung area. In the operation BLA Commander Rasheed Shahwani and his accomplice Shah Jahan were killed.

Rasheed was involved in several terrorists activities. Worth mentioning of them are killing of Principal and two students of Cadet College in April 2010, SHO Police Station Mastung Inspector Murad, Section Officer Sports Muhammad Idris (Quetta), Nk Zahid (FC), IB Inspector Babar ( Mastung), Levies man Akram Rind (Mastung), Din Jan and Bashir Lehri (Mastung), Security Guard WAPDA and killing of 18 FC personnel in January 2012.

Large quantity of weapons, hand grenades and literature of BLA was recovered form his possession.

Meanwhile FC and Police in a joint operation in Sariab area arrested 10 suspected persons. These were handed over to police.

FC also recovered explosive material in an action in Pashtoonabad locality here. Abdul Aleem was arrested along with 25 Kg Charas at Mian Ghundi Post.

Inspector General FC appreciating FC jawans who participated in targeted operation thanked peace loving citizens of Balochistan for extending cooperation with FC.

He reiterated his commitment that action against terrorists and criminals would continue without any fear or discrimination. Peace would be ensured in Balochistan at every cost.

He also appealed for cooperation and assistance from peace loving people.
