Eight to ten hour power load shedding irk people of Kot Ghulam Muhammad

Kot Ghulam Muhammad, Sindh: The unannounced prolonged power cuts in Ghulam Muhammad town and surrounding areas in Mirpur Khas district have paralyzed the daily life activities including trade and business.

On an average, the load shedding takes place for eight to ten hours a day starting from early morning till late in the night. The power supply is suspended for two hours from Fajr (morning) prayers, again from 12.30p.m to 2.30p.m, for another two hours at evening and lastly at 12.30a.m to 2.30a.m.

The people of the area have made several complaints to the officials of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company but they always turn deaf ear. “The HESCO officials are involved in power theft but they cover it through unannounced load shedding,” people alleged.
