EDO Health Karachi orders quacks to close illegal business, warns legal action
Karachi: Executive District Officer Health Karachi Dr. Imdadullah Siddiqui has warned all the quacks involved in illegal medical and dental practice to close their clinics and stop practicing or otherwise action would be taken against them under Medical Degree Act 1982, Allopathic System (Prevention/Misuse) Ordinance 1962 and Drug Act 1976.
According to an official handout issued Monday, he appealed the citizens approach any quack for the treatment who are posing threat to the human life. EDO asked the citizens to inform the concerned Town Health Officers about the quacks and assured that their names would be kept secret.
