Karachi: Inspector General of Police, Sindh Fayyaz Ahmed Laghari has decided to get certain seats allocated in cadet colleges and directed Assistant Inspector General Welfare to submit recommendation in this regard.
Presiding over a meeting convened for reviewing the welfare projects and facilities for the heirs of martyrs of Sindh police, he urged for focusing education and healthcare needs of legal heirs of martyrs.
The meeting was informed that diploma courses in refrigeration, electric work, civil work and others would soon be launched for the children of martyred cops so that they could be helped in self-employment. The meeting also reviewed progress of hepatitis vaccination program for police personnel.
