Karachi: Rain on Thursday forced the organizers to abandon the final of U19 National Women Cricket Championship, which was to be played at Lahore Country Club in Muridke between Lahore U19 and Karachi U19 teams.
Subsequently both the teams are now assumed as joint winners of the tournament.
Sialkot’s Iqra Nawaz clinched ‘Player of the Tournament’ award. Karachi’s Sana Urooj claimed the ‘Best Batter’ award. Kanwal Francis of Lahore received ‘Best Bowler’ award while ‘Best Wicketkeeper’ went to Rawalpindi’s Ayesha Furqan.
