CM approves special compensation for martyred of Swat
Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti has approved special compensation package for legal heirs of martyrs of Matta Swat, JamaludDin Advocate and Liaqat Ali.
This package was approved for the martyrs in recognition of their valor, sacrifice for upholding pakhtun tradition of hospitality and presenting a brave image of the nation and province. It merits a mention here that Taliban kidnapped two Chinese engineers in 2008; one of them escaped from militants and took shelter in the house of a notable of the area JamaludDin.
It merits a mention here that the provincial government has already paid Rs.4.12 million as compensation to these families while JamaludDin Advocate has been awarded Tamgha –eShujaat posthumously in recognition of his sacrifice. Under the special package, Rs.1 million each will be offered to these families.
