CM approves cementing of Kohta Canal Sawabi
Peshawar: Chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti has approved rehabilitation and cementing of weak parts of Kohta Canal in district Sawabi. The scheme was approved as non-ADP scheme and will cost s. 42 million. It merits a mention here that the matter was brought in notice of the CM upon his visit to Sawabi.
He was informed that area ahead of section AR13+500 of the said canal can’t capacitate flow of water and people of the area demanded remodelling of the canal. The CM directed for resolving the issue. Work on the canal will commence in January after necessary formalities.
Chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti has taken prompt notice of doctors demand regarding service structure and four tiers formula and directed Chief Secretary, Secretary Finance and Secretary Health for working out workable solution to just demand of the doctors and submission of detailed report to him in this connection in order to provide relief to doctors in connection with up gradation.
