Bandits kill man, three bodies found from Lyari

Karachi: A man was killed by bandits while three bodies with torture marks were found in Karachi on Monday. 35-years old Adnan S/o Abdul Rashid was gunned down by dacoits over robbery resistance near Do Minute Chowrangi, New Karachi in the remit of Khawaja Ajmer Nagri Police Station. However, 32-years old Amir S/o Iqbal was injured in same incident. The body and injured were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Police said dacoits intercepted the victims and wanted to snatch their valuables. However, on their resistance the dacoits open firing and killed Adnan on spot.

Medical Legal Officer (MLO) said victim Adnan received three bullets and died before he could be taken hospital, adding that other victim Amir received one bullet in his head and his condition was critical.

Separately, The body of man namely 25-years Abid S/o Pervaiz was found near Crown Cinema Maripur area in the jurisdiction of Kalri Police Station. The body with torture marks was moved to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

Similarly, another torture marked body of man, aged around 21 was found near Rehmania Chowk in the limit of Kalri police station. It was shifted to CHK for postmortem. The identity of deceased could not be ascertained.

A gunny bag packed body of a man, whose identity could not be ascertained, was found from Kashti Chowk, Chakiwara area in the remit of Napier Police Station. It was taken to CHK for legal formalities.
