Karachi: Additional prosecutor general on Wednesday sought time from the Sindh High Court SHC to file comments on bail of the owners of Baldia garment factory which claimed more than 250 lives where fire destroyed it.
A single member bench comprising Justice Aftab Ahmed Gorar put off the hearing of the bail plea till December 17.
The factory owners were booked under the murder charges for deaths of more than 250 people in their factory fire.
The applicants, Arshad Abdul Aziz and Shahid Abdul Aziz, had approached to court to be released on the bail.
In the bail application, they had submitted that the investigation carried out by the police was motivated and full of errors. They maintained police forced witness to record their statement against the factory owners.
Applicants had submitted that version recorded in the FIR was motivated subsequently every effort was made only to strengthen the version of FIR instead bringing truth on the record.
