QUETTA: Balochistan Assembly adopted adjournment motion on Senate Sub Committee on seeking details of provincial PSDP here Tuesday.
Adjournment motion was moved by Mohtarma Fozia Marri Adviser to Chief Minister.
Taking part in the discussion provincial ministers and members said that under 1`973 constitution no committee is empowered to interfere in provincial matters and accept or reject funds.
Chief Minister should take notice of anti Balochistan policies of Bureaucracy and take action.
These views were expressed by Senior Minister Maulana Abdul Wasay, provincial ministers Syed Ehsan Shah, Ainullah shams, Engineer Zamarak Achakzai, Mrs Nasreen Khetran.
They said hatching conspiracies against provincial government is old tactics. Success provincial government achieved about NFC award and development were not being digested to conspirators. Those speaking of rights of people in Assemblies were today creating hurdles in the way of funds through courts. We make it clear upon these forces morale of the members of Balochistan government is not down.
We would serve the masses at every cost. It is surprising Senators from Balochistan is part of this conspiracy. Their objection is inappropriate and an efforts to pave way for coming elections. People would foil this. We would secure victory in the coming elections owing to our performance. They said Asghar Khan case can be reopened after 16 years therefore cases of those committed corruption in the government should also be opened and action e taken against them.
They said despite passage of 65 years federal government did not mend its behaviour against Balochistan government nor provided funds for development. Whatever funds were given were our basic right.
They suggested a committee should be constituted to secure rights form the Centre.
They said Senate committee has no constitutional right to admit or reject any bill. It is joke with provincial affairs with rights given under 73 constitution.
Balochistan assembly is not bound to the Federal government in any way rather it is fully authoritative like national assembly. They regretted that whatever mega projects federal government started in the province were not completed.
