Khairpur, Sindh: An alleged dacoit was killed in encounter near here on Monday.
Police said that a dacoit, Atta Muhammad Tunio, was killed while five others dacoits were injured in an encounter near Khawaja Pull in the jurisdiction of Ahmedpur police station. However, the bandits fled carrying their injured accomplices.
A police team was chasing the bandits.
