AJK: India unleashed a region of terror in occupied areas: Majeed
Islamabad: The AJK Prime Minister Ch. Abdul Majeed has said that India who claims to be champion of peace and democracy has usurped the democratic rights of the people of Kashmir and unleashed a reign of terror in the occupied area to crush their freedom struggle.
He expressed these views at a reception held in his honour by PPP workers at Iftikharabad Chhamb in district Bhimber. He said India is violating international laws and agreement by opening unprovoked firing against civilians and armed forces on Line of Control.
He made clear that Indian designs to divert attention of international community from Kashmiri’s right to self-determination would be not fulfilled and it could no more hoodwink the peace loving countries through its baseless propaganda against Pakistan.
The AJK Prime Minister urged international human rights organizations to take stock of state terrorism and human rights abuses let loose by Indian forces against Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir.
He said that PPP government is taking concrete steps for socio economic development in Azad Kashmir and a number of schemes and projects are being launched in this connection.
He announced a water supply scheme for Thub Patni to be completed at a cost of ten million rupees‚ Intercollege for boys and girls‚ up gradation of four Middle Schools to High Schools‚ a rural health centre and a first aid post for the area.
