AJK: Govt. takes practical steps for rehabilitation of Kashmiri refugees: Majeed
Muzaffarabad: The AJK Prime Minister Ch. Abdul Majeed has assured that his government was taking practical steps for rehabilitation of Kashmiri refugees and earthquake affectees in the state.
He was talking to a delegation of Kashmiri refugees who called on him in Muzaffarabad on Monday. He said that the elected government was making efforts to provide permanent shelters to all refugees who rendered great sacrifices for the cause of Islam and Kashmir.
He said that his government is giving priority to provide free of cost plots to the Kashmiri Refugees in Muzaffarabad district. He said that so far over ten thousand Kashmiri Refugees have been given such plots in Mirpur district.
On this occasion‚ the members of the delegation presented their problems to the Prime Minister who assured to resolve them very soon. The Prime Minister set up a three Member Committee to visit Kashmir Refugees camp to review and resolve their problems on regular basis.
