33% believe whether severity increased: Survey

Islamabad: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan views are divided on whether severity of winter as 33% said it increased and 29% believed it decreased.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “In your opinion, in the last few years has the severity of winter in your area increased, decreased or remained the same?” Responding to this, 37% said it has remained the same, 33% said it has increased and 29% said it has decreased. However, 1% did not give a view.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2677 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during November 18 to 25 November.
