Russian will never win war in Ukraine: Biden

United States President Joe Biden has warned Moscow that the West’s support for Kyiv will not waver, vowing that conflict in Ukraine will never be a win for Russia.

Speaking in Warsaw after concluding a previously unannounced trip to Ukraine a day earlier, Biden hailed Ukrainian resistance to what he called Russia’s “aggression”.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has suspended Moscow’s participation in the New START treaty, the last remaining U.S.-Russia nuclear arms control pact.

Delivering his annual address to the Federal Assembly in Moscow, he also warned the West over Ukraine and resuming nuclear tests.

The Russian president said that his country will continue to push to “systematically” achieve its aims in Ukraine.

He rejected the US accusation as an attempt to “demonise” Moscow and inflame the conflict in Ukraine.
