EU delegation arrives in Kyiv to discuss support, deliveries for Ukraine

Over a dozen top European Union officials visited Kyiv today to promise military, financial and political aid and show support for Ukraine.

 

Headed by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the members of the EU’s executive European Commission will meet President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

 

EU officials said talks would include discussion of more arms and money for Ukraine as well as more access for Ukrainian products to the EU market and helping energy needs.

GB Govt committed for development of all districts: Khalid Khurshid

Chief Minister Muhammad Khalid Khurshid said that the provincial government is committed for development of all districts of Gilgit-Baltistan and work is being done under this agenda.

 

He was talking to a delegation led by former Governor Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan.

 

Khalid Khursheed said that Hunza is important district with reference tourism and  unique culture is the face of Gilgit-Baltistan, cannot be ignored.

 

Earlier,Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan briefed him about difficulties being faced by the people.

KP Police will not rest until blood of Peshawar blast martyrs avenged

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police will not rest until the blood of Peshawar blast martyrs is avenged.

 

This was reiterated by Inspector General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Muazam Jah Ansari while addressing a news conference in Peshawar on Thursday.

 

He said the police have almost reached the terrorist network involved in the blast.

 

The IG Police denounced all the speculations and rumors about the nature of the blast. He confirmed that the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber.
