Pilot project of solar water plants to be started soon in Cholistan: CM Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz chaired a follow-up meeting of his Bahawalpur visit in Lahore.

During the meeting, the Commissioner Bahawalpur, who participated through video link, disclosed that 34 points have been identified for installing solar water pumps.

Speaking on this occasion, the CM said that a pilot project of solar water plants would be started to provide water in the Cholistan near homes.

He directed that relevant matters should be finalized without delay as the government wants to resolve this issue permanently.

Kaira vows to expose Indian aggression, cruelties in IIOJK at all Int’l fora

 

Adviser to Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Qamar Zaman Kaira has reiterated government’s resolve to expose Indian aggression and cruelties in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) at all international fora.

Inaugurating the All Parties Consultative Conference on Kashmir issue titled “The Way Forward” in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said the entire Pakistani nation is standing by their Kashmiri brethren in their just struggle for getting liberation from Indian clutches.

Qamar Zaman Kaira also paid rich tribute to the spirit of Kashmiri leadership of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir for its continuing struggle for achieving their inalienable right to self-determination.

Khar lauds latest border management system installed at Chaman Border

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar has lauded the operation of latest border management system installed by National Database and Registration Authority at Chaman Border in Balochistan.

She was talking to Chairman NADRA Tariq Malik in Islamabad today (Wednesday).

During the meeting, Chairman NADRA briefed the Minister of State in details about Integrated Border Management System.
