GOVT PURSUING CONCRETE PLAN FOR EDUCATIONAL REFORMS IN FATA

The Government is pursuing concrete plan for educational reforms in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

According to official sources, two hundred and forty eight million rupees are spent annually on scholarships and stipends regularly awarded to talented and deserving students of FATA.

FATA University has been established to provide easy access to higher education to the people of these areas.

A number of cadet colleges have been established in the tribal areas to provide quality education to children at their doorsteps.

Under Public Private Partnership, Army Public Schools, Peshawar Model Schools and Beacon House Schools will also be opened in FATA shortly.
